From September 19 - 21, 2022, the DVS Congress took place in Koblenz – the event for the entire joining industry.
In addition to the large welding technology conference with presentations from operational practice, numerous application-oriented research results from recently completed research projects were presented as part of the innovation forum.
pro-beam was also on site to exchange ideas with expert colleagues and to provide insights into current e-beam topics in its presentations: for example, in the area of electron beam welding, the focus was on the joining of particularly complex components. In the field of additive manufacturing, visitors gained technical insights into the 3D printing process WEBAM – the wire-based additive manufacturing process, which is based on the electron beam and is particularly suitable for challenging metals and alloys.
